Tenant Handbook

Access Control System

Your building is equipped with an access control system.  The perimeter doors of the building are locked at 6:00pm Monday through Friday and reopens at 6:00am Monday through Friday.  Your employees may gain access to the building with their activated access card.

Your employees may gain access by placing their access card in close proximity to the proximity reader.  There is a proximity reader located outside the main lobby doors and there is one located at the rear entrance from the loading dock, and at the entrance from the garage.  The proximity reader will scan your access card, a green light on the reader will illuminate and you will hear the bolt release.  You can enter the building through the door closest to the reader.  The door will automatically close and lock behind you.

It is important to not let any individuals enter with you.

The lobby doors will be unlocked at approximately 6:00am (unless there is an emergency) Monday through Friday.  The lobby doors will be locked at 6:00pm Monday through Friday and twenty-four (24) hours a day on weekends and holidays.

Lost access cards must be reported to the Management Office immediately for de-activation.  A replacement card is provided at $12.00 per card.

The Security console is located on the South side of the first floor lobby. His or her presence in the lobby helps deter theft and vandalism in the building, but in the event of a problem, he or she will notify the police.  The officers are not armed, and should not be expected to physically intervene under any circumstances. They are here to observe, monitor and report.  Duty hours are 24/7.

The officers have been instructed to allow NO ONE in the building after hours. The tenant desiring access to the property should use their access card. If they do not have their access card, they will be instructed to contact their employer for access.  Security is not authorized to permit entry.  All others will be asked to leave.

For security reasons, anyone not having a key to your suite or offices, including your employees will not be admitted by Transwestern personnel.

Neither Security nor the Management Office will sign or accept any packages for the tenants.
